Of moon shots and an Audi A4

Last night, the moon was bright (again), so I shot it!

Arriving at work this morning, I spotted this brand spanking new Audi A4 in our basement carpark. Hmmm... and I thought fuel prices were affecting us badly...

What a very nice looking car!

Local info. here: http://www.audi.com.my/audi/sea/my/new_cars/a4/saloon.html

TOMITECH Aero R/C - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII

Bought this "toy" from Parkson Grand, Alamanda Putrajaya last weekend for RM29.00

Only took me about 1 hour to complete the R/C model. Very good instructions (its in Japanese - but with good visual guides). I hardly need any tools to get the parts out and install them.

NO SCREWS needed! Most of the components "snap" together

UPDATED: Took this photo using my colleague's 6MP "I" branded digicam (I believe its about 2MP interpolated to 6MP)

hey, nice work man. btw, can u roughly tell me how fast that thing goes? and can the rims be swapped ? much appreciated, thanks. Fri 31-Oct-2008 05:39

Hi Eugene. Sorry for late revert - didn't check my fotopages for a very very long time. Not sure how fast they go, but if you have extra rims - yes, they can be swapped.

Traffic jam at Puchong caused by accident

Location: Near the Puchong/Cyberjaya toll - the stretch of LDP until the spilt to USJ and IOI Mall
Duration: >1 hour to travel a 3km stretch of road

Images are not too sharp due to windscreen + v-kool

A few things to note:
1. An advertistment board with fuel prices
2. Near miss - A car's sudden lane change, right after a motorbike pass in between!
* you can't see the bike in the 2nd image becoz he "cilok-ed" left after...
3. A lady talking on the mobile phone while driving ... hmm ... with a nice car like that, can't she afford a hands-free kit?
4. It was a fatal accident - there's a dead body on the middle lane. Not sure if its a pedestrain or a motorcyclist - he's got the usual "mat-motor" apparel (jacket & jeans). It was under a pedestrain bridge...

Didn't take any pictures of the body as my car passed right beside it and there was >5 policeman around the area...

Notes:
Cilok = abrupt turns; normally achieveable by bicycles or smaller motorbikes

Dennis: Yeah man, hands-free cameras! You mean like "Wildest Police Chase" kind? Tue 21-Feb-2006 02:22

Hey Lance, what you need is a bicycle, here in Sydney the bike gets you where you are going faster than a car every time. You also have the pleasure of seeing the envious faces of the drivers as you zoom by. Best of all it's pollution free!
