Thanx for all the kind comments!
Alan Lee: Hmm... quite expensive hobby; that's why its not mine
Gary&AlanV: Good observation ... they sure look weird. I actually have some that are from an even steeper angle; Whoa! That's even weirder!

My Avanza - rotate tyres & alignment setting

Switched between my front & rear tyres - will do so for every 10,000 km to ensure uniform wearing of all 4 tyres (hopefully!)

Went to my usual alignment workshop for re-alignment. Informed by the old man that the alignment was "very off"!

Didn't do balancing as the old man said, if no vibration, tak payah.

Edited:
Added 2 google maps with some labels. First one is an overview to show the general area in relation to Jalan Cheras Lama (Kajang Police Station/Stadium) and Country Heights. Second image is a zoomed in view (somewhere in the middle of the previous map) to show the exact location.

denniswoo: added a set of google.maps. Hope it helps. Fri 22-Sep-2006 06:38

Any idea the old man has started to impart his valuable knowledge to his son/daughter? Because once he goes, no one knows how to operate the traditional balancing thingy again. Fri 22-Sep-2006 07:50

6th Malaysia International Trade & Consumer Fair at PWTC

I was there and took a couple of shots.

They are mostly "shoot from the hip" type of photos.

There were lots of things going on from food to security stuff. Its like a "pc fair" for "everything" here. There were promoter's all over the place, getting the visitors to visit and find out more about their products & services. There were loads and loads of deals - but be aware that some are "normal priced" items made to look like good deals!

For more information, click here.

Here's my favourite shot of the event - these stainless steel "swans" hold a couple of tea-spoons:

Heavy, huge turning radius, low, 2.0 litre FF, automatic transmission, hug the road crazy, 7km per litre (hard driving), car!
