Travel by monorail and scenes around KL

Travel by monorail and scenes around KL

Some guide:

1. An advertisement at the building beside Sungai Wang (Imbi?) as seen from the monorail just before arrival at Bukit Bintang Station. Notice the car park at the bottom right of the image.

2. Departure of the monorail train after arrival at Bukit Bintang Station.

3 - 4. Had a short "tea-time" at "18th Street" cafe in Bukit Bintang Plaza. Nice "Ying-yang" (half coffee, half tea) and Nissin instant noodles! YUM!
First picture of a signboard in the cafe. Second is a mom and daughter shot with the cafe's billboard behind.

5. A shot from the above at Lot 10 (another shopping centre). Nice "layered" effect from the multi level setup.

6. One of the Chinese New Year decoration used in Lot 10. I don't read chinese, but I guess they are goodwill greetings!

7. A view, down Jalan Sultan Ismail from the pedestrian crossing, between Lot 10 and Sungai Wang

8. An evening shot of the monorail station

9. Agora Hotel. One of the older hotels along the busy Bukit Bintang road

10. "Andy Lau" graced one of the billboards there.

11. A view of Jalan Alor and KL Tower in the background. I believe the KFC on the right is a 24 hours outlet, right?

12. Any guesses on what this is?

Anyway, to share some travel facts:
1. Monorail travel is EXPENSIVE for a "public transport" - KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang = RM2.10 per person, one way!
2. The Bukit Bintang area is a shoppers haven! No matter if you're a guy, gal, nerd, techie, fashionable, hobbyist, food lover... anything and absolutely everything can be found there!
