Another popular jam location, the Country Heights turn off
Big vehicles hogging and blocking the view on the fast-lane

Crazy Traffic at Kajang SILK highway!

Got stuck in this ridiculous jam for an hour (normal journey takes 20 mins). Travelling from Sg. Chua (Kajang) to Cyberjaya (Century Square).

Heard on the radio that it was caused by a trailer with a punctured tyre at the entry to Putrajaya (turn-off, after Uniten).

This stretch has been notorious for rush hour traffic. You get people who hog the fast lane, please who block and Putrajaya exit by travelling bumper to bumper at the left lane, a string of tankers, trailers and tractors at the most critical time (around 08:00 - 09:00hrs, when everybody is getting to work)

I hope something can be done to solve this problem. Even without any accident/breakdown, the traffic crawls in the morning. Maybe the authorities can impose some travel restriction (timing) for heavy vehicles, etc during the rush hour.

Another thing. The Country Heights exit to the Plus highway is crazy as well. I think the traffic light timings are way off. In the mornings, the traffic will build up all the way to the Shell station. Hope this can be addressed as well...
